Minimal Access (Laparoscopic) Surgery
Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) refers to the use of techniques that permit access to internal organs without a large incision.
When MAS is used for dealing with abdominal diseases it is called Laparoscopic surgery.
The section of Minimal Access Surgery has state-of-the-art equipment and offers facilities for performing common as well as more complex operations. Several of the abdominal operations that are traditionally performed by open surgery can now be undertaken using minimal access surgical technique with obvious benefits to the patients
