Department of Paediatrics
This section deals with children from the newborn period right up to adolescence. The section has inpatient as well as outpatient services.
This arrangement allows all child patients with their distinctive needs to be catered easily and ensures that Paediatric residents are always available at hand for emergencies. The floor is manned by nurses who are specially trained to look after children.
The outpatient department includes daily clinics in general Paediatric (including immunization) and in addition specialty clinics such as Neurology, Allergy, Child Development Clinic (CDC), Nephrology, and Urology.
