Dietitians are qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level.
Uniquely, dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices.


    • Dietitians play role since the foetus is in Mother’s womb. The requirements of nutrients starts before birth.
    • Dietitians are the one who decides which food is best suitable in which particular condition and at which stage of life.
    • Prescribe and advise diet to the patients to treat or prevent various lifestyle related disorders and diseases. diabetes, obesity, cardiac diseases, cancer, renal disorders etc.
    • Dietitians also look after the RT tube feedings of the patients who are critically ill.
    • Dietitians meet patients in hospital and solve their food related queries and myths.
